I am Dr. Adefemi Taiwo, MD, a dual board‐certified Psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine specialist based in Austin, TX. I earned my medical degree from the University of Lagos College of Medicine in 2007 and completed my Psychiatry residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center from 2013 to 2017. I then went on to complete a fellowship in the Yale VA Addiction Psychiatry program between 2017 and 2018.

New patient appointments usually last 1 hour and follow up appointments last 30mins.
Dr Taiwo is available via tele/ video appointments Monday - Thursday 7am- 4pm CST.
He is available for in person visits once a week on Fridays between 7am and 4pm CST.
For prospective cash pay patients, Dr Taiwo’s estimates are similar to most MD providers in the area.
